
Steve Martini is Vice President of Strom Commercial Real Estate and has over 7 years experience in acquisitions, leasing and development in the Downtown San Diego market. As one of the founders of Strom Commercial Real Estate, Steve is focused on office building sales and tenant representation as well as “value-add” development. Steve is highly qualified to advise companies in all aspects of corporate facilities including strategic planning, relocation, expansion, lease negotiations, lease renewal and purchase transactions.
Some of Steve’s most significant transactions include building sales to Ocio Design Group (4,000 SF Bankers Hill), McCarthy Holthus LP (15,000 SF Bankers Hill), Team Metro (10,000 SF Bankers Hill), ACM Architects (7,500 SF Downtown SD), White Construction (10,000 Bankers Hill) David Preston and Associates (3,000 SF Sorrento Mesa). Additionally, Steve has completed over 300 lease transactions where he has predominantly represented the Tenants' interest.
Originally from New York State, Steve received his Bachelor of Business Administration with an emphasis in Finance from the University of Vermont in 2001. Prior to starting his real estate career Steve was employed for 5 years by one of the oldest construction firms in New York Sate and was an active member of Rochester Laborers Union Local 435. Steve assisted the company on many large New York State funded projects. Steve has completed several post graduate courses in commercial real estate and is currently taking classes to complete his CCIM designation and is working towards his membership at the Urban Land Institute.
Steve is an active member of the San Diego Yacht Club, Lake Tahoe Yacht Club and in his free time enjoys cycling, snow skiing, surfing, club lacrosse, water skiing, boating and is an avid outdoorsman. Additionally, in his free time Steve is a coach for the California Youth Lacrosse League. Steve resides only a few short blocks from his office in Downtown San Diego.
